I am ever so grateful for the postings to my plea for help. I have finally qualified for disability, but, became worse in the process. I can only type for short periods of time and have to use a wheelchair now. I had both my children for a time period but lost both in the divorce from my husband. My son and I were scraping by with money and medical management for my condition but it was not enough and he finally had to quit gymnastics as he is in custody of his grandparents which are fortunately around the corner. His whole childhood was gymnastics and he is suffering from identity issues as well as emotional. I have only supervised visits with the children due to CPS in texas and there are no accomodations for people that are disabled to see their children. I have reported this violation to the ACLU and I hope for a response. I have suffered many, many setbacks and I am fighting the rest of the way. I have some information for people that are in my boat. If you are a veteran with 10 or more years of service and you have served actively and become disabled with dependants you may qualify for VA disability. ALSO if you are being abused by a caretaker or money stolen you can have advocates to help deal with the police(Adult Protective Services). Join any church that offers help to you. It is the only way to live a good and fair life. God will be good. I guarantee it. Bless you. If any one knows how I can restore my son and daughters athletic life let me know. In texas his gym is an hour away. He was fortunate enough to be on a team with the fellow Mens Olympic Gymnastic Team and practice regularly with them. He will never forget it. Also in Texas if a parent is disabled a child can get their Hardship License at 14. And fortunatetly for him, The Mens Olympic Coach has an open invitation for him to come back as soon as he can. He really loved Raj as a sort of mentor, he told him he has talent. He will never forget that either. He is disturbed emotionally right now but I believe children are resilient. Take care and I will check in as often as possible
